T.H.E Social Work Services, LLC offers adoption home studies, court evaluations, and Case Management services throughout the North Alabama area.

Sometimes courts seek more information than can be obtained through testimony. An investigation and analysis of the health, safety, welfare, and best interests of a child with regard to disputed custody and visitation issues are conducted through personal, in-home contact with parents and collateral contacts. Testimony can be provided.

When performing court evaluations, social workers help the Court understand what options are in the best interest of the child.  The social worker's role in custody and visitation court evaluations is that of an impartial mental health professional who can assist the parties, their children, and the court.  Operating in the best interests of the child/children involved is the social worker's primary focus throughout the evaluation process and during any court proceedings.
